MODULAR SEATING FURNITURE.

The idea for a seating module—based on octahedra—emerged from the requirement to duplicate forms in order to design furniture and products. The module can be arranged freely and combined into a wide variety of compositions. The work was limited to sketches and mock-ups, allowing the concept to be quickly and clearly experienced. For a full-scale implementation, the hollow elements could, for example, be made from recycled plastic. The lightweight, water-resistant material would enable use in diverse public spaces and, through its adaptable design, address situations where conventional furniture reaches its limits.
